About Soi Máy

Soi Máy is a free tool for testing a used phone, tablet or laptop before you buy it. Open the site on the device you are about to buy; there is nothing to install. The name is Vietnamese for “inspect the device”.

What can it test?

The screen (dead pixels, backlight bleed, burn-in, refresh rate), touch, speakers, microphone, cameras, keyboard, touchpad, sensors, fingerprint and Face ID, battery and charging port, CPU performance, WiFi and GPS. For things a browser can't read, such as the IMEI, iCloud Activation Lock or battery health, there is a step-by-step checklist.

Your data

Every test runs on your own device. Images, sound and location are never sent or stored anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Cost

Soi Máy is free and is supported by advertising, sponsored content and affiliate links. Ads never appear on a screen where a test is running.
